| Elevator Music | Darleen Totten, Teacher
This is a really cute concept, and I can tell you guys had as much fun making it as we did watching it! Comedy is tough to pull off well, and you succeeded! It would have been so much more effective if the sound was better. (If you have trouble with the equipment you have on hand to use, you might want to consider dubbing in the voices, but that is extremely difficult with closeup camera work.) The story line defintely works and is easy to follow. Adlibbing is tough to pull off effectively; best left to people like Robin Williams. Many of your choices were really great -- overall very nice work, and I look forward to seeing more great stuff from you!
Congrats on the award! 09/28/2005 |

Nice work! Congrats on the award. The concept was a really good one, but I had trouble understanding exactly what was going on at times. I wanted to see more development of the storyline to help clarify things. This was a pleasure to watch! keep up the good work! 09/28/2005 |

This really does tug at your heart and has a message that everyone needs to hear. I know that you made this PSA for your semester exam (in just two hours!) which makes it that much more special -- Congrats on winning Best PSA and good luck in college this year! 09/28/2005 |

| Murders Connection | Darleen Totten, Teacher
This one-shot is a great first attempt at making a films. Ashley and Don's performances were super - and the award for Ashley was well deserved. I would have liked for you to have resolved your lighting issues, but I know that in the future you will plan for better lighting. I thought the pictures and even the blood at the end were very creative touches that helped to enhance the production. Nathan did a great job on the music; it really added to the overall effect. Too bad Ashley graduated - maybe she will come back to make more films with you! 08/26/2005 |
| Una Historia Tragica (A Tragic Story) | Darleen Totten, Teacher
Amanda you worked very hard on this music video and it shows! The original music was beautiful and helped to set the mood perfectly. The sepia tones really added to the overall effect. In retrospect, I think that the transitions should have been different, although I know you were trying to achieve a flashback effect. The story was also a little hard to follow, although I am not sure how you could have made it any clearer in the short amount of time the music gave you. Overall, I think this was an outstanding music video, and I am very proud of your work! I hope that you will let the skills that you have learned in this process take you to great places in the years to come! Good luck Amanda! 08/26/2005 |

very nice work -- especially since you only had two hours to put this PSA together -- I had some problems with the word choices because sometimes it didn't really make sense. I loved the effects and the directorial choices. Keep up the excellent work! 08/26/2005 |
| Lost And Found | Darleen Totten, Teacher
The story line is very creative and the split screen was an interesting directorial choice that was a little distracting for me, but the editting when they merged was very nice. good work! keep it up 08/26/2005 |
